Acne Peel

Acne peels are used to exfoliate your dead cells and excess sebum whilst minimising pore size, reducing breakouts and helping to control your acne.

Whether your breakouts are hormonal or acne our amazing Red Carpet Medi-facial combines:

  • Glycolic acid to exfoliate dead skin cells
  • Salicylic acid to clean your pores with an antibacterial effect
  • Lactic acid to help to brighten and minimise pores

Oily skins can have this peel every 2 weeks which will help maintain your pore pathway and control oil - unclogging blocked pores.

This combined peel exfoliates the stratum corneum and deeper epidermal layers if more than one layer is used.  Although used in our Red Carpet Medi-facial the peel can also be performed on the neck and back. It is typically repeated every 4-6 weeks to maintain results with a home skincare regime to enhance results.

Preparation and Aftercare

Patients using skincare containing Tretinoin or vitamin A, benzoyl peroxide or salicylic should refrain from using these products for 3 days prior to their peel in order to avoid sensitivity. Product use can resume 24-48 hours after the peel.

Patients having laser, IPL or electrolysis treatments should avoid such treatments for 1 week prior to their peel.
