We create the PRP from your own blood, so there is no risk of your body rejecting the treatment.

Your treatment will be carried out by a doctor or nurse and will start with the application of a topical anaesthetics cream to your face to ensure comfort. Next, blood will be taken from your arm to produce your PRP serum, after which you can relax whilst we wait for your skin to go numb. Then the micro-needling will be performed with the application of the PRP serum on top. The whole process will take about 60 minutes.

Immediately after treatment your skin will be red, warm and tight, which will mostly resolve within 2 days. Your skin feels rough (micro-crusting) and dry for several days, which will resolve in 5-7 days and is easily covered with light make-up.

You will start to see an improvement to your skin complexion and skin tightening which is slowly progressively improve with every treatment. We recommend a minimum of 3 facials spaced 6 weeks apart. 6 treatments are necessary when treating acne scars.
