Choosing an aesthetics clinic is not like choosing a salon. You are trusting someone with your face, your skin and your health  and in the UK, the difference between a regulated medical clinic and an unregulated provider is bigger than most people realise. We explain what we believe you should expect from any clinic, and how we hold ourselves to it.

At a glance:

  • Registered and inspected by Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS).
  • Rated “Exceptional” for safe, person-centred care - 2026 inspection.
  • Save Face Platinum accredited.
  • Clinician-led, with over 22 years of clinical experience.
  • Consultation-first: no medical treatment without a face-to-face assessment.

Regulated, Inspected, Accountable

DRVICTORIA™ is registered with Healthcare Improvement Scotland, the body that regulates independent healthcare in Scotland. That means our premises, protocols, training, hygiene standards and emergency procedures are inspected against the same benchmarks as other healthcare services, not beauty-industry norms.

In our 2026 inspection, HIS awarded us “Exceptional”, the highest possible grade, for the key question: “How well has the service demonstrated that it provides safe, person-centred care?”

Consultation First - Always

Some treatments we provide involve prescription-only medicines, and UK law requires a face-to-face consultation before any such treatment. We built our whole clinic around that principle, for every medical treatment. Your consultation is a paid, honest clinical assessment, which means your practitioner is never under pressure to sell you a treatment, and will tell you plainly if the right answer is a different option, a smaller plan, or no treatment at all.

Medical Standards Behind Every Treatment

  • Clinician-led care: Our clinical team is led by Dr Victoria Dobbie BDS, with over 22 years in aesthetic medicine.
  • Emergency-ready: As a regulated clinic we maintain medical emergency protocols, complication management plans and clinical governance that unregulated providers are not required to have.
  • Gold-standard equipment: from Ultherapy® ultrasound to medical-grade lasers safe for all skin tones, we invest in evidence-backed devices, not budget alternatives.
  • Honest aftercare: Complimentary reviews and adjustment where clinically appropriate, plus a published Duty of Candour and complaints procedure.
