Collagen helps your skin maintain its tightness, elasticity and suppleness. As you age your skin loses its natural collagen, leading to a reduction in facial volume which results in hollowing, skin laxity and the formation of wrinkles, lines and folds. This process is accelerated by sun damage and menopause.

Collagen stimulators contain Poly-L-lactic acid which promote your body's cells to produce your own new natural collagen. The new collagen restores volume loss to lift and tighten your skin resulting in a reduction in your wrinkles, lines and folds.

Sculptra Treatments

Sculptra is a collagen stimulator that is injected to produce gradual and progressive results over 6-12 months creating natural looking results with a vibrant complexion.

The benefits of using Sculptra are:

  • Always natural, it is your own collagen.
  • Shape improvements with the lifting of your cheeks and sagging jowls.
  • Slow results for those that don't want a quick and drastic change.
  • Fresh vibrant appearance due to improvement from skin health.
  • Results last 2 years without yearly maintenance.
  • Annual maintenance keeps the results fabulous for 5-10 years.

The limitations of Sculptra are:

  • Not suitable for anyone with an autoimmune condition or poor health.
  • Requires 2-4 initial treatments a month apart.
  • The procedure cannot be reversed.

Ellansé Treatments

Ellansé is a collagen stimulator that is injected and has an immediate effect similar to a dermal filler. Thanks to Ellansé unique dual properties, it not only corrects lines and folds, but by also stimulates your own collagen to achieve longer lasting results that lift sagging skin.

The benefits of Ellansé are:

  • Immediately reduces lines and folds.
  • Results last longer through the production of your natural collagen - up to 4 years.
  • Over time fewer maintenance treatments are required when compared to traditional dermal fillers.
  • Fresh vibrant appearance due to improvement from skin health.
  • Ellansé can be combined in a treatment plan with Thread Lifts to achieve a result similar to facelifts.

The limitations of Ellansé are:

  • Not suitable for anyone with an autoimmune condition or poor health.
  • The procedure cannot be reversed.
  • Unlike Sculptra, because of the immediate results it may be more noticeable that you have had a treatment.

New patients must have a consultation, fee £35, with a doctor or nurse to check their medical history and determine a treatment plan that is appropriate to them.

Sculptra needs to made in advance of the appointment and once made cannot be reused. Therefore patients having a treatment will be asked to pay in full in advance of their treatment and no refund can be given if the appointment is missed. You can reschedule if you speak to reception with more than 48 hours notice.

We charge £35 for each consultation to cover the costs, which means you get honest advice from which you can make an informed decision and are never pressured into making a decision.

How to do I check that the clinic is a safe and professional treatment provider?

The team and clinic is annually inspected by Healthcare Improvement Scotland who regulate independent hospitals, hospices and clinics in Scotland. The inspections examine our team, treatments and clinical environment, so that you have the invaluable assurance that you are in safe hands that use safe products in a safe environment.
