Exosome microneedling addresses the early signs of ageing by stimulating your natural collagen and elastin production to make your skin plumper and firmer to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
What are exosomes?
Exosomes are nano-sized messengers that deliver growth factors and RNA whilst enhancing cellular communication to help increase the production of your collagen and elastin and thus help develop plumper, firmer and brighter skin.
How does combining exosomes with microneedling work?
Your skin is a very effective barrier between your body and the environment, with two primary functions:
- To regulate water loss from the inside out and keep your body hydrated.
- To block entry to allergens, irritants, and bacteria that can penetrate your skin, which also works against most topical drugs.
Your skin is comprised of three major layers: epidermis, dermis, and subcutis. The outermost layer of the epidermis is the stratum corneum, which acts as a physical barrier to prevent water loss and protect against external harm. Microneedling creates micro channels through your skin's stratum corneum to allow the exosome serum to penetrate deeper into the epidermis, and down to the dermis which increases the effectiveness of the treatment.
Who can benefit from exosomes?
Men and women of all skin types, typically aged 30 – 45, who are starting to notice fine lines around the eyes, upper lip, forehead or wrinkly eyelids will benefit from an initial course of 6 treatments at monthly intervals. We recommend a maintenance treatment every 6 months thereafter.
Who should not have this treatment?
This treatment is not suitable for:
- Vegetarians and vegans as the exosomes are sourced from the umbilical cords of red deer.
- People with weakened immune system.
- People with clotting and bleeding disorders.
