What happens in a treatment?

Immediately after treatment your skin will be red, warm and slightly swollen, which will resolve within 2 days. You may develop micro-crusting, which will resolve in 5 days. During your initial course you will repeat the treatment every 4-6 weeks.

Morpheuse8 is a microneedling pen that combines RF similar to EndyMed INTENSIF. EndyMed INTENSIF is often regarded as a more comfortable treatment with faster recovery compared to Morpheus8. Its gold-plated needles are thinner and penetrate deeper into the skin with fewer passes, leading to shorter treatment sessions and reduced discomfort for patients.
What preparation is required for microneedling?
Following a good skincare regime prior to starting your treatment plan will achieve best results. During your treatment you should:
- Avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs e.g. Aspirin / Ibuprofen 1 week before and after each treatment.
- Stop the use of retinol (vitamin A) creams 3 days prior to treatment.
After a microneedling what must I avoid?
After your needling treatment, to reduce the risk of infection, you must avoid for 12-24 hours:
- Touching the treated areas with your fingers,
- Wearing make-up.
When Will You See Results?
You’ll see visible improvements in your skin 2-4 weeks after your first treatment. Repeat treatments will continue to improve results. We recommend a minimum course of 3 treatments for skin laxity.
Optimum results will be seen 6 months after your last treatment when the natural process of collagen remodelling has completed.
Skin tightening and lifting results can last 1-2 years depending upon your lifestyle and you can maintain your results with a top-up treatment every 6-9 months.
