I’ve been deeply involved in the aesthetics industry for over 20 years, ever since Victoria founded the business. During this time, I’ve helped steer the company through economic challenges, technological advancements, and evolving social norms. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m excited about what the future holds.

Excited About the Future

What excites me most about the future? I love exploring new regenerative medical products and techniques with Victoria. Helping people become the best version of themselves, especially beyond 50, has evolved enormously in the past two decades. This year, I’m particularly keen to trial a product designed to naturally restore some of the colour to my greying hair!

My Must-Have Treatments

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to experience a range of treatments. These three, in particular, have significantly boosted my self-confidence:

  • HA Fillers
    Running a business can be stressful, and over time, I developed deep static frown lines that made me look permanently cross. Filler injections smoothed out that line, making me appear more approachable and happier. I could see how this changed the way people interacted with me.
  • PRP for Hair Loss
    We haven’t stopped me going grey, but PRP hair injections have slowed my hair loss and receding hairline. Which means I can still have a proper haircut rather than resorting to a crew cut!
  • Tear Trough Rejuvenation
    Long hours take their toll, and for me, that shows as under-eye dark circles. I have regular PRP tear trough injections to help me look fresher. As a man of my generation, wearing makeup concealer isn’t the norm, so this is perfect for me.

My Favourite Serum

Without a doubt, my favourite serum is Ultra Hydrate. It’s fantastic for helping my skin recover after time spent outdoors, especially sailing, where it often gets exposed to harsh elements.

My Role in the Business

I’m responsible for business strategy, finance, marketing, regulatory compliance, and team management. I firmly believe that a company’s success is driven by its culture and professional development, so I champion continuous training to ensure our team remains at the forefront of the industry.

Helping the team constantly develop their knowledge and skills to grow their passion is what I believe, sets us apart from many competitors.

Life Outside Work

I’m a passionate sailor and enjoy both dinghy and yacht racing. As a sailing instructor, I love helping young people build confidence and an adventurous spirit through the sport. Watching young sailors grow as they master new skills is incredibly rewarding, and in return, they keep me young in mind and spirit. Being on the water is allows me to switch off from business pressures entirely.

Beyond sailing, I love adventurous travel that involves trekking, diving, and cycling. I’ve explored much of Europe, Asia, and Africa, always seeking out new experiences and challenges.

Fun Fact

At home, I love to cook to relax after a busy day. I enjoy being creative in the kitchen, taking inspiration from recipe books and travel to make my own versions.

When travelling, I often find myself involved in a local cooking experience, whether with a street vendor or in a cooking class - it’s a great way to connect with different cultures through food.

Before taking on his current role, he was an e-business consultant for Scottish Enterprise, supporting small and growing businesses. Before that an Army officer. Both careers have shaped his leadership skills and passions for leveraging technology to drive business transformation.
