Is laser hair removal permanent?
Laser hair removal is best described as long-term hair reduction. It can significantly reduce growth over a course, but some regrowth or maintenance may be needed. Electrolysis is the permanent hair removal method because each hair is treated individually but is more uncomfortable and takes much longer.
What if I have unwanted facial hair but some hairs are grey or blonde?
Laser works best on darker hair. Grey, white, very blonde and some red hairs usually need electrolysis. Many patients benefit from a combined plan using laser for darker hairs and electrolysis for lighter remaining hairs.
