Medical Assistant

Hello, I'm Sara, a registered nurse with a passion for person-centred care and a keen interest in the aesthetics industry. I love seeing people leave with a confident, radiant smile, which has inspired me to join the DRVICTORIA™ Clinic family where I'm excited to learn from the best.

My Role

As a Medical Assistant, I'm an important part of each patient's journey through the clinic. I handle the meet and greet, provide reassurance throughout your visit, and assist practitioners with treatments from start to finish. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and supported every step of the way.

What Inspires Me

New evidence-based innovations continue to emerge in aesthetic medicine and intrigue me. This ever-changing and quickly evolving industry is moving towards more natural results and self-care approaches with better UK regulation. I'm particularly inspired and passionate about supporting patients having Sculptra treatments since witnessing its transformative results.

Skincare Recommendations

My favourite skincare product has to be retinol - it's like liquid gold for cell rejuvenation and turnover, helping new cells grow more quickly and providing healthy, glowing skin. Just remember to use it in the evening only and ensure it's completely removed before going outside under UV rays. Don't forget your SPF!

Life Outside the Clinic

I enjoy spending time with my young children in nature, as I'm fortunate to live beside beautiful woods, walkways, and beaches where we can enjoy fresh air and exercise.

My children have been raised on a very selective type of dance music - it's an important part of our family culture. Let's just say they enjoy the disco lights on and the music loud! I absolutely love Spanish wine and tapas, and enjoy unwinding with my family at lovely restaurants.

Fun Fact

I have a cute strawberry birthmark on the sole of my left foot. As a child, my mum would insist I could never run away because they'd always find me in a foot line-up!

Sara's Career

Sara's passion for person-centred care began when she worked with the Thistle Foundation in 2014/15, supporting people with disabilities and long-term conditions. From there, she worked for NHS Lothian as a Healthcare Assistant in various wards and clinical environments before completing her nursing degree in 2022. After which she undertook a post in a fast-paced acute medical specialty in Fife.

After taking some time away from nursing, she was drawn to the role of Medical Assistant at the clinic where she can combine her healthcare background with her passion for aesthetics and patient care.
