Kayla Sharp
Hello, I’m Kayla,
Right now, I’m on a new adventure, taking break from my nursing course and diving into the world of skincare. I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel their best, and I’m excited to be learning from the team here at Dr Victoria. My goal is to build my knowledge and eventually gain qualifications in skincare and aesthetics.
My Role
My job is to support our clinicians in delivering safe, effective treatments. I make sure each treatment room is clean, fully stocked, and ready for every patient. But the part of my role I value most is helping patients feel at ease.
I talk to our clients during their treatments to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I try to get to know each person by building a genuine connection - being open, listening closely, and always treating concerns with respect. It’s important to me that every client feels relaxed, understood, and supported.
Favourite Treatments I like Supporting
I find it so rewarding to see clients leave the clinic with a boost in confidence after treatments like Botox. There’s something really uplifting about watching someone walk out feeling more like themselves.
I’m also fascinated by treatments like PRP hair restoration. Hair can be such a core part of someone’s identity, so knowing that a treatment like this can help someone feel more confident is incredibly inspiring.
Outside Work
I love to travel and experience different cultures. My life goal is to explore as many places as I can, trying new foods, meeting people from all walks of life, and making lasting friendships along the way.
When I’m home, I enjoy dining out and spending quality time with my family and friends. I also try to keep active going to the gym when I can and heading out for sunny walks. Music is a big part of my life too. I love dance music (my favourite!), but I’ll listen to anything that makes me feel good, from old-school pop to whatever gets me moving.
Fun Fact
I travel to Amsterdam with my friends, twice a year if we can, to go to dance music festivals. We dance all day and have the best time together. It’s our way of letting go, living life to the fullest, and coming back home refreshed and ready to take on whatever comes next.
Kayla’s Career
Kayla has worked in community healthcare for over 7 years going to individuals homes encouraging and promoting good health and independence as much as possible. She has absolutely loved working in healthcare and feels a real sense of pride assisting people to achieve basic day-to-day tasks that they have lost confidence doing and need support for this.
During this time she had the opportunity to travel to Australia on a 1 year working visa in 2020 and was able to continue to work within the community there, whilst meeting some wonderful individuals supporting their needs and wants.
Working in Australia gave her inspiration to start a nursing course in 2024 which she is enjoying. Currently she has taken a break in her studies to gain experience at the DRVICTOIRA Clinic to learn more about skincare and aesthetic medicine.
