Rosacea Microneedling

Rosacea microneedling is designed to strengthen your skin barrier functions to reduce skin irritation and inflammation that creates the appearance of redness and an uneven skin tone. The treatment combines the Klardie Cellup Ruby bioactive serum with eDermaStamp® to improve bioactive serum's effectiveness.

Who can benefit from rosacea microneedling ?

Men and women who suffer rosacea or general facial redness with sensitive skin which is most prominent in:

  • Celtic skin types during season changes: autumn to winter and winter to spring.
  • Perimenopausal women suffering with a decrease in progesterone leading to higher skin inflammation all year round.

We recommend an initial course of 6 treatments followed by a maintenance treatment every 6 months thereafter.

Post treatment care

  • No treatment can permanently remove rosacea, but this treatment can significantly make your rosacea less noticeable - with long term results.
  • If you have known rosacea triggers you should avoid these as they can induce and aggravate rosacea making it more noticeable again e.g. sensitivity to certain food types / perfumes etc.

Who should not have this treatment?

This treatment is not suitable for:

  • People with weakened immune system.
  • People with clotting and bleeding disorders.

I have red veins, but I don't think I have rosacea - what should I do?

Seek a consultation to determine the best solution for you. Typically IPL treatments are better in treating specific thread veins or spider veins where the IPL will remove the offending capillaries.

However, if you are a perimenopausal women then IPL on its own will not strengthen your skin barrier for long term results and so a treatment combination maybe a good solution.

For young men and women with mild facial redness a HydraFacial Platinum facial with the ZO Rozatrol booster is likely to be a good starting point.
