Botox Wrinkle Relaxing Injections

"Choose the lines you want to keep, loose the lines that make you look worn and tired"

Botox (Botulinum toxin) has been used for over 30 years to treat dynamic wrinkles that are formed by muscle contractions, such as forehead lines, frown lines, bunny lines, crow's feet, bobbly chins and wrinkly necks.

Botox provides a safe non-surgical alternative to more invasive procedures like facelifts whilst offering quick results with minimal discomfort and no lengthy recovery period.

In expert hands Botox injections can provide a natural and subtle rejuvenation allowing you to continue to express facial emotions. As the treatment is temporary your treatment plan can be adjust as you ag, so you always look your best and never over done.

Botox is also used to treat:

Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, and other facial expressions cause your skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines and wrinkles in your upper face.

In addition, as you age some muscles can become stronger than others causing a downward pull on your skin effecting your mouth, jowls, chin and neck.

Botox temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes these problems, to restore your facial features and help your skin look visibly smoother.

  1. Consultation: If you are new to our service you will have a consultation with a doctor or nurse to discuss your goals and determine whether you're a suitable candidate for a Botox treatment. If not they will recommend an alternate option to achieve your desired outcome.
  2. Preparation: At your treatment - the area to be treated is cleansed and marked up for the injections.
  3. Injection: Your doctor or nurse will use a very fine needle to inject small amounts of Botox into specific muscles of the face. The number of injections and the locations will vary depending on your facial anatomy and desired outcome.
  4. Procedure Duration: The procedure usually takes 10-30 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.
  5. Recovery: There's usually no downtime after a Botox treatment and you can resume your normal activities immediately.
  6. Results: You will start to notice your results 3-7 days after the treatment. The full effects might take 14 days to develop. The results are temporary and usually last for about 3 to 4 months. Over time, the muscles gradually regain their activity, and the wrinkles may return.

We offer 3 different neurotoxin products, so we can tailor treatment plans to the individual and their concern - these are:

  • Botox® (onabotulinumtoxinA) by Allergan
  • Azzalure® by Galderma
  • Nuceiva® by Evolus

All products are FDA and EU approved with excellent safety records and testing. Each works slightly differently. Your expert practitioner will recommend which is most appropriate to achieve the best outcome for your concern.

Botox is a prescription only medicine and under UK law all patients new to a treatment provider MUST have a face to face consultation to check their medical history and determine if the treatment is appropriate for them. This typically takes 30 mins and costs £35. If Botox is not a suitable option for you - your practitioner will advise you of other alternative options that are better suited to achieve your desired outcome.

If you are having regular Botox treatments ask your practitioner about Annual Plans to enjoy big savings and maintain a perfect result.

Is an injectable treatment painful?

An injectable treatment is administered using a very fine needle that takes just a few seconds. It’s a quick tiny prick that most patients tolerate very well. If your treatment plan requires several injections at a localised area then a topical anaesthetic cream may be applied to numb the skin.

Who can have Botox injections?

Botox injections are suitable for most men and women, but the best way to find out is to arrange a consultation. If you have any of the following contra-indications then please ask about alternate treatments:

  • Pregnancy / breast feeding;
  • Myasthenia gravis;
  • Eaton lambert syndrome;
  • Bell’s or facial palsy;
  • and Liver disease.

What side effects can occur with Botox injections?

Botox injections have been used globally in millions of treatments and are safe and effective when administered by a healthcare professional who has the correct understanding of anatomy. However, like all medical treatments there can be side effects. Common side effects, which resolve quickly, include:

  • tenderness;
  • bruising;
  • and redness at injection points.
