When do you see RF microneedling results?
You’ll see visible improvements in your skin 2-4 weeks after your first treatment. Repeat treatments will continue to improve results. We recommend a minimum course of 3 treatments. Optimum results will be seen 6 months after your last treatment when the natural process of collagen remodelling has completed.
Skin tightening and lifting results can last 1-2 years depending upon your lifestyle and you can maintain your results with a top-up treatment every 6-9 months. Results can be further enhanced by combining the microneedling treatment with PRP.
What happens in a treatment?
For comfort, a topical anaesthetic is applied before your treatment. The INTENSIF handpiece will then be applied to your skin, and moved across the treatment area in a regular pattern. After treatment a soothing gel will be applied to your skin to aid recovery.
Immediately after treatment your skin will be red, warm and slightly swollen, which will resolve within 2 days. You may develop micro-crusting, which will resolve in 5 days. During your initial course you will repeat the treatment every 4-6 weeks.
